Add organic texture and quiet character to your home with these handwoven Chaguar baskets, crafted from wild chaguar fiber harvested in Northern Argentina. Each piece is entirely made by hand from the strong chaguar plant, a native bromeliad gathered and processed by Wichi women using ancestral techniques.
After collecting the wild fiber, the artisans soak the plant, extract the strands, and hand-spin them into threads using ash. The baskets are then woven with traditional methods and finished with natural dyes, resulting in pieces that carry both history and craftsmanship.
With earthy tones and a naturally irregular texture, each basket adds a sense of timeless, understated beauty to any room. Use it as a sculptural accent, for everyday storage, or simply as an expression of slow, intentional design.
