FAQ & Care Information

All our handmade products are made by artisans one piece at a time. Slight variations in color, textures, shape and grain are possible. Imperfections are inherent and should not be misconstrued as flaws, as this is what makes each piece beautiful and unique.

  • Here are our general recommendations:

    Merino Wool throws and blankets
    Spot clean. Dry clean only.
Do not machine wash or hand wash an entire blanket or throw with water. This could lead to deformation and/or possible running of dyes.

Treatments: the application of stain preventative treatments is not recommended. This can potentially lock in a liquid stain, very difficult to remove (even professionally). Wool contains lanolin, which is nature’s own stain repellent.

Storage: Use and keep your blanket or throw in a clean, dry environment with good ventilation and filtered light. Avoid storage in dark, humid spaces with little or no air movement. Never store your blanket or throw in plastic bags as this can cause discoloration over time.

    Merino Wool pillow covers
    Remove pillow insert.
Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent.
    Do not wring out.
    Lay flat to dry.

    Chaguar products
Spot clean when needed. Dry clean only.

    Carandillo products
Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

    Palo Santo products
    Rinse with water, oil-treat

    Chané Masks
Do not use water. Clean with a dry cloth, avoid humidity, knocks, friction and direct exposure to sources of intense heat.

  • Liquid spills must be blotted up as soon as possible. Using a white towel, white cloth or white paper towel to draw up the liquid is best. Place the towel or cloth on top of the spill and starting from the outside of the spill, apply pressure to soak up the liquid. Never rub a wet liquid stain. Repeat this step until clean. If a stain is still evident, apply a small amount of lukewarm water and draw it out using the same method described above. If the stain persists, we recommend dry cleaning.

Using cleaning solvent is not recommended.

  • Due to the hand-made nature of the collections we carry, it depends on the product and the amount. There are only a few products that can be made the same. However, we will maintain sizes and techniques, achieving similar products. Please email us for further information.
