A handcrafted treehouse in Manitou Springs, Colorado

During the 2020 pandemic, Robin was inspired to build a treehouse on her historic 40-acre property in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
After the walls took shape, I joined the project to bring the interior to life, carefully selecting materials and designing the interior space, with a focus on natural textures and custom-made pieces. The metal roof, salvaged from a 90-year-old farmhouse, adds character, while the walls, clad in native Douglas Fir, blend harmoniously with the landscape. Over 100-year-old windows frame breathtaking views, creating a seamless flow between the indoors and the forest beyond.

The treehouse has been featured in Dwell +, 5280 Home, Colorado Springs Lifestyle, and Revista Living Argentina [Click here to read more].
